Why can't I select my size?
Sizes that appear online but cannot be selected will usually be available again very soon. Click on the size you need and leave your email address. As soon as the size is available, you will receive a notification from us. Sold-out sizes that will no longer be available in the future will not be displayed online.
I entered a valid GIFT CARD or discount code correctly. Why wasn't this automatically deducted from the invoice?

After entering a gift card or discount code, you still have to click on "Apply" and then the deduction will be made. If you only see at the end of the order that the amount has not been deducted, please do not hesitate to contact us - we will happily add it for you later on. No discounts can be claimed retrospectively for orders that have already been sent.

Why can't I order on account?
We are generally happy to offer payment by invoice. For security reasons though, the address you provide will be checked. If the address is not recognised, e.g. because you have recently moved or for other reasons, payment by invoice may be disallowed. Sometimes it’s impossible to tell why it’s not offered. Either way, we want to make your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. We suggest that you choose another payment method (TWINT, credit card, etc.) or prepayment. With prepayment, we ask you to leave a message so that we can check everything internally and then manually switch to invoice. Thank you for your understanding.
Is it possible to order a selection of items? Do I have to pay for the whole package?

If you order a selection of clothes and then would like to send some items back, no problem. You only pay for what you keep. If you have already paid for the entire order by credit card, TWINT or another payment method, we will refund you the necessary amount using the means of payment selected when you placed your order. Please note you have 14 days to return your items.

What is Click & Collect?
We offer a «Click&Collect» option which allows you to make a pre-selection of clothes online and we will ensure everything is ready for you to pick up in our STORE in Fällanden. When the items are ready, you will receive an SMS text message from us. Payment is then made directly in our store. If you want to try the items before you buy them, we kindly ask you to make an appointment.
Do I get my money back if I return any clothes?
Of course! If you have already paid for your order, you will get your money back after we receive a full receipt of the items you wish to return. We will transfer your refund amount to the payment method you selected when you placed your order. Please note you have 14 days to return your items.
How much does a return cost at JEANS.CH?
We will enclose a returns label with your order. The postage for the return with this label costs CHF 7.00 (possibly a little more for heavy parcels). In the context of an ecological mail order business, it makes sense to think about what you are ordering and whether you really want it. Wild ordering and sending back and forth does not seem desirable to us.
I have ordered a selection on account - do I have to pay the entire invoice amount?

If you order a selection of clothes and then would like to send some items back, no problem. You only pay what you actually keep.  After we receive a receipt of the return, you will receive a credit voucher for the returned item from us via email. This credit together with your payment then balances the invoice you received with the delivery of the goods. So, no new invoice will be created. Please note you have 14 days to return your item.

 

I have chosen the payment option 'Prepayment' - to which account should I pay?

After ordering, you automatically receive an order confirmation with our bank details by email:

Are there regular promotions at JEANS.CH?
We strive to always treat our customers by offering great offers and deals - so it is worth subscribing to our newsletter. Sometimes we also send promotions by mail; please make sure to announce any changes of address so that we can reach you. Promotions are temporary and are only valid for a limited period of time.
Can I rely on the size of all jeans brands I already know

Simply put, yes. However, when selecting waist size, leg size and length, some leeway should be given. Since jeans are still hand-sewn products (usually involving more than 50 steps), there may sometimes be minor differences between products, even within the same brand. Please do not be afraid! Trying the jeans is more important than pointing at every minor detail and often the changes are so minor it makes no difference and the jeans will fit you perfectly well.

 

Do jeans shrink when washed?
Most jeans are pre-washed and only shrink up to one centimetre in length the first time they are washed, otherwise not. Important: Always follow the washing instructions.
What is the best way to button a pair of jeans
If you are the proud owner of a pair of jeans with a button placket, here’s a little tip to help you speed up: Always button from bottom to top and not, as with zippered jeans, close the top button first. With a button strip, the top button should to be done up at the very end.
Does JEANS.CH make jeans to measure?
No, we don't make made-to-measure jeans. However, we have a huge assortment, a lot of choices and we have our own tailoring shop. The best thing to do is to make an appointment for a consultation at our store in Fällanden and let the products speak for themselves.
Why do jeans tend to last less time these days?
By adding synthetic fibers such as elastane, polyester or elastomultiester, the fabrics become softer and a little less resistant. That is why the jeans' quality can be slightly diminished. Processing (special washes) can also affect the fabric. For increased comfort and a fashionable look, you may lose a little longevity. If you are not satisfied with the quality, please do not hesitate to contact us; we’re here to make sure you find the right product for you.
Do jeans made from 100% cotton still exist?
Yes, there are still certain styles and brands that produce “real” jeans. These include the classic Levi's 501 or Levi's 505 but there are plenty of other jeans made of 100% cotton for both men and women. Please always pay attention to the material composition by reading about each product’s «Material & Care».
Does JEANS.CH sell summer and winter jeans?

Yes, depending on the thickness of the fabric (standard, thin, thick), jeans and trousers are suitable all year round, for warmer days (summer jeans & trousers) or for colder days (winter jeans & trousers). Of course, this also depends on personal preference so categorising products into seasons is not always simple. Can I return clothes free of charge?

Anything that doesn't fit can be returned to us without any problems. However, we ask you to use our label and pay the return shipping fee of CHF 7.00 (possibly a little more for heavy parcels). Please note you have 14 days to return your items.

According to the tracking system, my parcel was delivered, but I did not receive anything. What can I do?
Normally, friendly neighbours kindly accept parcels when the mailman leaves them in your house or in the entrance to your building. Therefore, we always advise you to ask other people (or other family members) whether they might have accepted a JEANS.CH package. If you cannot find the package, please contact us and we will take care of it.
How are jeans from JEANS.CH packed?
We send ordered items in a shipping bag that usually fits in your mailbox. This means you don't have to go to the post office if you are not at home during the day. Larger orders will be sent by tracked delivery.
Does JEANS.CH deliver parcels abroad?
No, in general, we only deliver in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. However, we like to be flexible and we also like to make our foreign customers happy, so we have a special procedure for foreign orders. Send us the exact item with the size you want and your full address (including your mobile number) via email. We will then check the availability of the item(s) you want. If everything is ok, we ask you to prepay the purchase price and the shipping costs to our PayPal account. As soon as the transfer is there, we will send the goods and send you the shipping documents by email so that you are able to track your order.
Do I have to pick up the parcel at the post office?
Usually not. If the value of the goods is CHF 500.-, if the parcel is too big for your mailbox or if you expressly request it, we will send our parcels by tracked mail.
Can customers manage the delivery date of orders?
Yes, of course, just send us a message with your order details and your desired shipping date, and we will adjust it for you.
Can I also come in person to JEANS.CH?
Yes, for sure. We are more than happy to welcome you in our store in Fällanden every day from Monday to Saturday by booking a prior appointment. Book your free consultation appointment online.
Is the store in Fällanden wheelchair accessible?
Our entrance has a small step of 6cm and then 3cm. The rest of the store is all flat. If you are a wheelchair user, we are happy to take care of you; when you book an appointment, our staff will have more time to consider and meet your requirements.
Can I exchange clothes ordered online in the store?
Of course, we are very easy-going, if you want to try something new, just book an appointment. If you just want to hand in a parcel, no appointment is necessary.
Why do you need to make an appointment to go shopping in the Fällanden store?
Our collection is suited for an online store, because of its importance. We are happy to grant you access to our huge selection of in-store goods in the Fällanden store. In order for you to make the most of it, we make time for you and we are on hand to help you at every step of the way. This means you can enjoy the “best of both worlds” - a huge selection of products as well as the best personal shopping experience. Our advice is free and we will not push you to buy anything. What are the opening times of the store in Fällanden?
We have no official opening times. We offer shopping appointments from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. We look forward to seeing you!
Does JEANS.CH do anything to help the environment?
Yes, we strive to do this in many different ways. Our company JEANS.CH, our website and our shipping process are already carbon neutral. In the warehouse, we separate and recycle whatever we can. For printed and packaging material, wherever it is possible and reasonable, we use recycled raw materials. When it comes to renewing and expanding our range, we prefer products that are sustainably produced. We also depend on our partners on this issue, the various brands which produce the jeans we sell. However, we continuously see great efforts in the production processes in order to reduce the use of chemicals and water, if not to omit them completely, and to reduce the length and number of transportation routes. It is clear that a lot can and must still be done everywhere - but we strive to stay up to date with all the most recent developments!
