When we talk about Dawn Denim, we are talking about the denim label called Dawn. This label was founded in 2015. The three founders of the label fulfil different roles in the label. The designer of Dawn fashion, Ines Rust, is the creative head of the label. She creates the cool looks. The managing director of the label is Gabriel Fellsches. What makes the label different from many others is that besides the organisational and creative task, the task of production has also been assigned. Since the label produces in Vietnam, Marian von Rappard, who lives in Vietnam, is on site. He is responsible for the realisation of projects on site and pays special attention to working and production conditions. The Dawn label differs from other companies in that they want to promote a change in the jeans industry and thus also in the fashion industry. The reason for this is that the production of clothing, especially jeans, is currently very harmful to the environment and to global water consumption. Most water is used in agriculture, but the fashion industry contributes enormously to the waste of our water resources. It takes 8,000 litres of water to produce a single pair of traditional jeans. Most of this is used in the process of washing a pair of jeans. In addition to the enormous water consumption, many chemicals are used in the production of conventional jeans that are very harmful to both humans and the environment. But besides the poor treatment of the environment, the prevailing working conditions in production continue to be denounced throughout the fashion industry. In the production of jeans, however, it is particularly bad for the workers in the factories because of the chemical substances with which the jeans are dyed. The fashion label Dawn counteracts all these factors by focusing on fair working conditions and ecological materials. But if you think of dusty eco-fashion, you are far from it. Jeans are available in all styles, from straight fit to boyfriend jeans. So you can wear your jeans from Dawn without a guilty conscience and with a perfect fashionable fit.
