Save The Duck
The still quite young brand Save the Duck emerged in 2012 from the old-established Milanese clothing company Forest. The main focus is on jackets for women, jackets for men, casual parkas, stylish coats and comfortable quilted jackets. There are nalso individual products for children. With the new Save the Duck brand, Nicolas Bargi, a third-generation entrepreneur, wanted to embark on a new path: a respectful approach to people and robust, functional clothing that does not use animal raw materials.
Family business with a long tradition
The parent company Forest was already founded in Milan in 1914. Thus, the clothing manufacturer developed in one of the most important areas of the fashion industry under the leadership of the founder Foresto Bargi. The Save the Duck brand was only founded in 2012, but is already a permanent fixture on the fashion scene. Save the Duck's mission was to take fashion to a new level: instead of using warm down and the associated exploitation of animals, the brand focused on an animal-free concept. The company has succeeded in this with its sustainable concept and high-quality outerwear.
100 percent vegan
All Save the Duck products are vegan. Instead of down, wool, leather and fur, the company relies on advanced technologies and materials that offer the same properties. The Save the Duck jackets for women and men are characterised by a sporty, practical and functional look. They are suitable for everyday use, but elegant looks can also be found. For those who spend a lot of time outdoors, the brand offers various functional jackets for men and women. These feature a practical pocket layout, useful details and a sporty look. In addition to the well-known quilted jackets, quilted waistcoats and quilted coats, Save the Duck offers vegan rain jackets, functional jackets, winter jackets, parkas and short jackets for women, men and children. In addition, there are shoes, accessories and dog clothing.
Sustainability and social commitment
Save the Duck supports various environmental projects and aid organisations. These include support for Sea Shepherd and Save the Children. Save the Duck has developed its own collections to support the work of these organisations. Another collection is aimed specifically at nature lovers: one or two functional jackets have even made it to the second highest peak in the world, K2. In addition, Save the Duck works with its own code of ethics. The entire brand is characterised by a respectful approach to nature, but also to people and to each other.
